Shena Howell is Australia’s Aerospace Programs Technical Lead. Her efforts include providing technical support for various program capture activities, with a focus on the Triton Capture in Adelaide, Australia.

Shena joins the Australia Aerospace team from the NGAS Global Strategy and Mission Solutions (GSMS) organization, where she has been working since mid-2014, most recently as the Offset Program Manager for the Republic of Korea Global Hawk Offset Program.

Previous to that, as a Mission Assurance Engineer, Shena spent a year in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) working with various Aerospace and Defense companies to develop and implement a common performance management system (metrics and dashboards) based on NGC’s best practices.

Shena started her career at Northrop Grumman as a Quality Engineer where she worked for 5 years supporting various Space programs and technologies. In this role, Shena was a founding engineering mentor of the UAE Innovation Challenge – a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiative targeted at teaching Emirati college students how to design and build unmanned aerial vehicles, which culminated in a NG-sponsored competition each year.
