James has completed his penultimate year of studies towards a Bachelor of Engineering (R&D program, mechatronics major) and Bachelor of Science (mathematics major) at the ANU. Since his days of instructing for the Australian Air Force Cadets, James has pursued his passion for aerospace and aeronautical systems academically and professionally. This has included presenting his research on UAV cooperation at the 2017 IFAC World Congress in Toulouse, and performing commercial air traffic modelling within the Network Performance and Analysis team at Airservices Australia.
Having attended Aerospace Futures in 2014 (Brisbane) and 2016 (Sydney), James has developed a keen eye for what makes a memorable delegate experience. As social event coordinator, he is responsible for providing delegates environments to form strong networks with peers and industry contacts, while ensuring everyone has a great time.
