Emily Wotherspoon

Day Events Coordinator

As a third year Aerospace Engineering student at UNSW, Emily attempts to balance her coffee to mimosa ratio. It wasn’t until her senior years of high school that she developed a passion for space. A search on wikiHow of ‘how to become an astronaut’ detailed step 1 as ‘to obtain a bachelor of Aerospace Engineering Honors’. With step 1 underway, her passion has only grown stronger to make it to space. She is a member of the AIAA UNSW Student Branch and an AYAA Outreach officer, she also works as a mentor in the Makerspaces at UNSW. The Aerospace industry is vibrant with innovation so advocating STEM is something important to Emily to get us all to space.
